President Muhammadu Buhari, has authorized the posting of ambassadors to Nigerian missions overseas.
The approval adopted Day by day Solar’s unique report on Monday that 82 Nigerian embassies/missions have been with out ambassadors.
The Everlasting Secretary, Ministry of Overseas Affairs, Ambassador Gabriel Aduda, disclosed the event in a press release issued in Abuja.
Aduda stated the ambassador-designates to Nigerian missions overseas included 43 profession ambassadors and 52 non-career ambassadors.
“The Ministry of Overseas Affairs needs to tell that His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, has authorized the posting of Ambassador-Designates to Nigerian Missions overseas. The listing contains 43 Profession Ambassadors and 52 Non-career Ambassadors.
“With this improvement, the method of requesting Settlement from the potential host nations have commenced,” Aduda stated.
Aduda additional stated there might be an induction course for the ambassador-designates and their spouses which is able to maintain on a date to be introduced shortly to arrange and facilitate the motion of the envoys to their respective missions.
